All right, so I've researched and found all sorts of answers, but have decided that my best bet is to go with published authors and their opinions on this subject:
When, exactly was the London Season? I heard after Easter - August 12, March to June (because the Thames would start smelling horribly during the hottest parts of summer), etc...
Thanks, Ladies! You're the best. _________________ Writing and Re-Writing,

The season lined up with when Parliament was in session, but generally you can count on it running April-June (with out-lying events in March and July). Most people who could afford to do so left London by mid-late June because the warm weather made it very unpleasant, and it took until late March for the roads to dry up enough from the winter rain and snow to become easily traveled. But the were wealthy people who lived in London year round, and there would always have been parties and the theatre, etc.
So, if you’re looking to write a book set during “the season” you’re shooting for an April-June” setting, but you can set your book any time of year (mine always seem to begin in the late summer/early fall and wind-up in the early spring, I wonder why that is?). _________________ -Kalen

Yes, Kalen's description is the one I tend to follow. Parliament convened in January and those involved would make their way back to London. But their ladies would likely spend the next few months updating their wardrobes and planning their social calendars for spring, and perhaps not move to town until March or April. I don't think most big social events began until April, or maybe late March. But as Kalen said, there are always people in town at any season, so there would always be social events. _________________

That might refer to the Parliamentary session, not the social season. The social season is definitely a spring/early summer thing. _________________
