Hi!

I have a problem finding any information about the furniture and interior design during Regency. d'oh!
Does anyone know of any useful links on the subject? Or even some books?

Thanks

Tena, my favorite book for this is called Regency Style, by Steven Parissien. It's put out by Phaidon Press. I picked it up the last time I was in England, but you might be able to order it used off AbeBooks. I also use a great little book called Georgian House Style, by Ingrid Cranfield. It's put out by David & Charles Ltd. I've also found that decorative arts books, often put out by museums, can be a very good source.

As for links, you might start with the research links on this site, and branch out from there.

Here are a few more titles for you:

Regency Furniture by Margaret Jourdain. It's one of the old Country Life series of various eras.

Regency Furniture by Frances Collard. This is a gorgeous book published some years ago by the Antique Collector's Club.

Regency Design: Gardens, Buildings, Interiors, Furniture by John Morely. Another gorgeous book with a fabulous Adam Buck painting on the cover. This is a book I recommend that all Regency writers have in their libraries, as it covers so many aspects of the period.
