Okay, This is a debut book and I never ever comment on a new author until Ive read atleast 2 books, but this book was really good and tastefully done..The hero is a duke who was raised by a perfectionist father and a heartbroken mother and the heroine is a clumsy half american half english girl, she doesnt know her beauty and is being taken advantage of and abused by her step mother, the hero doesnt want to get married because the perfect woman is not real and he finds flaws in all of them. But the heroine is everything he disdains in a woman and he falls hard for this girl..Its romantic, funny and just good. 5 stockings for this book! _________________ A gem cannot be polished without friction, Nor a man without adversity. |

I adored this book. It made me laugh and it just hit all the right notes for me
I finished the second book, To Wed a Wicked Earl, last night and enjoyed that one as well. Can't wait for Rosalind's book. _________________ Blog: Wit and Sin |
