Those are ranking names, based on the number of posts a member has logged on the board. Here is the breakdown of ranks and names: 1 - 50 posts = Upstart 51 - 100 posts = Poor Relation 101 - 150 posts = Landed Gentry 151 - 200 posts = Encroaching Mushroom (ie a social climber) 201 - 300 posts = Influential Member of the Ton 300 - 500 posts = Regency Peer 500 - 1,000 posts = Blue-blooded Regency Aristocrat 1,000-1,500 posts = Regency Royalty If you don't like being an Upstart, then you'd better start posting!
