Not much, to be honest. I don't have much money coming in rght now. But we do have a few new things in the house. Greg and I (mostly Greg) collect old master drawings, and we acquired 3 more in an auction a week ago. You can sort of see them here (it's hard to get good shots in a narrow hallway):
We also collect Chinese monochrome porcelain, and our most recent find is this little 18th century water dropper in a claire de lune glaze:

Such good work!! WOW!
I love the choice of wallpaper, too. That and frames really make the drawings stand out in relief. Very nice! _________________ Medieval & Regency Writer

Oooo, Qianlong claire de lune porcelain is so hard to find! Do you have some peachblossom glaze porcelain also? I love those. _________________ blog ~ could it be . . . seton? |

No peach blossom yet. One day! And the little claire de lune is actually Kangxi. _________________

Is it sick that I'm thrilled to see a conversation I know nothing about? LOL!
Great prints, though. _________________ -Kalen

Yes, it is a little sick.
And just because it makes a big difference to the collectors among us, they're drawing, not prints. (Note to Kalen: We had to move the Vernet ink-and-wash drawing that you liked to make way for the new ones. The boys are still in the hallway, but are now hanging too high to be appreciated. We need to rearrange when we get one more drawing back from the framer.) _________________

Those boys deserve to be at just the right height so you can look 'em in the eye. How else can you truly appreciate the derisive smirk of the one on the left and the Rod Stewart-esqe foppery of the one on the right? _________________ -Kalen
