If he is the Earl of Twitter, for example, he would likely introduce his wife as Lady Twitter. If he is a plain Mr. Tweet who married Gertrude, the daughter of the Earl of Twitter, he would introduce her as, "my wife, Lady Gertrude." She gets to keep her courtesy title even if she marries down. Just remember that in the introduction, the lower ranking person, regardless of gender, is always presented TO the higher ranker person. _________________
