This would depend on your character's income. A wealthy lady might have very nice habits for all occasions, while someone who's struggling to manage a season might have only one nice habit for Town, and use older ones while she's at home in the country. VERY few women hunted (I think there are maybe four or five documented) and our era predates the development of special attire for hunting (the huntmaster and others who ran the hunt might have been in special jackets, but the attendees weren't).

No clue. I've never seen any documentation for this. _________________ -Kalen

Most images show women wearing shoes for riding (crazy, I know). Halfboots are an option as well. _________________ -Kalen

Eep. I've always had my ladies in half-boots, whether noble or not. Given the tall boots men wore, it seems contradictory for the women to wear pumps. _________________ Medieval & Regency Writer

Thanks for clearing that up. I was under the assumption that perhaps Town styles were different from country styles. _________________ Medieval & Regency Writer

I hear you. I've only seen one image of a woman in REAL boots, and it was a caricature of her that also showed her with 5 o'clock shadow! And I haven’t found any extant riding boots for women from the period (side note: Elizabeth I had riding boots, so it’s not out of the question). _________________ -Kalen
