Middle: Sterling vinaigrette in the shape of a wallet, with bright-cut floral decoration on lid and base. Grill pierced and engraved with rose and thistle design. A suspensory loop is contemporary with the original manufacture, and indicates the vinaigrette would have been worn on a chain as a locket or as part of a chatelaine. Maker unknown, Birmingham, 1816.
