The 2025 annual conference of the Jane Austen Society of North America, held in Baltimore, featured a pop-up museum. A handful of members were invited to share special items from their collections. Candice brought items that a lady in Jane Austen’s time might have carried in her reticule, including coin purses, portable cosmetic cases, vinaigrettes, needle cases, pocket calendars, perfume étuis, visiting card cases, and fans.
