11411 Masonic Home Dr.
Bloomington, MN 55437

Candice will use fans from her collection to discuss this particular type of fan popular during the Regency period. (Brisé fans have no folded leaf of silk or paper, but consist entirely of pierced sticks.) She will also give historical context to the style and size of the fans, as well as the materials used to make them.

Candice will have many fans from her collection on display for attendees to view. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own fans as Candice will give tips on how to communicate secret messages using the Language of Fans.

Click here for more info and to register for the event. It’s open to everyone, but non-JASNA members will pay a bit more. The registration price includes a full brunch.
