Large pendant of painted ivory set in gold. The altar is composed of a separate piece of ivory adored with tiny seed pearls and gold wire. Bottom and right side painted in eglomisé (ie the underside of the glass). A glass covered hair compartment is on the reverse side. 2″ long, not including bail. c1780
